From the 9th to the 12th of April Vircell had the pleasure of particiapting in the 26th edition of the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID). Each year the congress gains more importance, and on this occasion more than 5,000 abstracts were presented and more than 11,000 scientists and clinical experts from all over the world attended. The “Top 5” participating countries were: the United Kingdom, Holland, the USA, Finland and Denmark.
The commercial hall, covering almost 5,000 m2, housed 160 exhibitors. The Vircell stand, larger than previous years and located at a prime location at the entrance of the pavilion, received hundreds of visitors.
We are really pleased with the great interest shown by attendees to learn more about our diagnostic solutions. Receiving special attention was the AmpliRun RNA control for the Zika virus and the VirClia kits. In addition, live demos of the Speed-Oligo, VirClia and VirClia Plus were performed.
From Vircell, we are deeply thankful to all attendees who visited our stand. It has been a great pleasure and privilege for us to meet with this great network of industry professionals.
