From the 26th to 28th of May, Vircell had the pleasure of participating in the XX National Congress of the Spanish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, SEIMC, to be held at the Barcelona International Convention Centre.
This conference is the forum of reference in the field of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology in Spain and is attended by more than 1,200 professionals from different disciplines to discuss the most relevant and current healthcare, formative and scientific topics.
At the scientific level, the most important advances in infectious diseases diagnosis were shown. Moreover, the latest news from the industry were also released in order to provide a quicker and easier diagnosis in the daily routine of the microbiology laboratories.
The VirClia Plus system has been one of the flagship releases of this Congress. This system, which will be available at the end of the year 2016, is the new tool for the diagnosis of infectious serology based on chemiluminescent monotest test of high capacity format.
