European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID)
From the 22nd to the 25th of April Vircell had the pleasure of particiapting in the 27th edition of the European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases (ECCMID). Each year the congress gains more importance, and on this occasion more than 5,000 abstracts were presented and more than 12,000 scientists and clinical experts from all over the world attended. The “Top 5” participating countries were: United Kingdom, USA, Germany, France and Italy.
The commercial hall, covering almost 5,000 m2, housed 195 exhibitors. The Vircell stand, larger than previous years received hundreds of visitors.
We are really pleased with the great interest shown by attendees to learn more about our diagnostic solutions, specially on VirClia®, that counts already with more than 70 products in its catalogue. As we did in previous exhibitions, we organised live demos of the VirClia® and VirClia® Plus instruments that raised great interest.
From Vircell, we are deeply thankful to all attendees who visited our stand. It has been a great pleasure and privilege for us to meet with this great network of industry professionals.
