Last week we had the pleasure of participating in the XXIII congress of the Spanish Society of Clinical Microbiology, SEIMC, which was held in Madrid. With more than 1,400 entries in this edition, this event is an essential appointment to promote progress in microbiological diagnosis and knowledge of infectious diseases.
On the first day of the congress, Vircell convened more than 180 participants at the symposium Biomarkers of Fungal Infection - Expert Opinion, where recommendations on the use of biomarkers were given for the identification of this serious pathology.
