It is a pleasure to announce the launch of a new Transport Medium for the collection and preservation of viruses, chlamydia and mycoplasma that incorporates a swab specially recommended for pediatric use.
This product, suitable for COVID-19 sampling, is especially recommended for pharyngeal and nasopharyngeal samples.
The flocked swab included in the kit is specially designed for children since its short and very soft tip avoids the discomfort of the little ones when taking the sample. It also has a molded break point marked with a red line for a safe and reliable break in the transport tube.
The medium is dispensed in 16 mm ∅ x 100 mm tubes with a skirted conical bottom that facilitates the handling without the need for racks. Thanks to the new screw cap that captures the swab, it is easier and safer to remove when opening the vial.
