Antibody quantification in prevalent diseases with a high index or reinfections is very useful in adult patients. The seroprevalence of Chlamydophila pneumoniae in adults is higher than 50%, making IgM detection in adults very rare and qualitative IgG measurement of less utility.

G1007): Effective from lot 08ECPNG104 our kit includes 3 quantitative controls that will allow assigning, with the help of a standard curve, titers that are equivalent those obtained in MIF assays.
This improvement means an extension of the product use, as the quantitative protocol does not mean any price increase. The users which are not interested in quantification can perform the technique as usual.
