The Area Manager holds sales meetings with our partners
Last May, Benigno Neira (Area Manager of Latin America) travelled to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay to visit Vircell's commercial partners.
In Argentina, Benigno did a complete business review with Dr. Patricia Etcheves and Giampaolo Scarton (Bioars Technical Director and Managing Director). Also, he was able to evaluate new approaches to consolidate our position and define a strategy to improve our market share.
Vicente Pereira (Sales Manager) accompanied Benigno in his visit to some of the most important hospitals of Buenos Aires: Hospital Sanatorio Güemes, Fundación Favaloro, Stamboulian Servicios para la salud, Hospital Italiano Buenos Aires, Centro de Estudios Infectológicos and Hospital de Rehabilitación Respiratoria Diagnóstica María Ferrer.
Vircell received a very warm welcome in Uruguay. Liliana Señaris (Bioquim, Ltd. Managing Director) reviewed with Benigno our position in the Uruguayan market and the business opportunities that we have ahead. Upcoming releases caused much excitement and for sure will improve our competitive position in Uruguay.
During three days Benigno visited some of the major customers of our products: Hospital Pereira Rossell, Hospital Británico, Laboratorio Fertilab, Asoc. Española Primera de Socorros Mutuos, Hospital Maciel, Laboratorio Castro Gherardi, Banco de Seguros del Estado, Instituto de Higiene Laboratorio de Higiene Pública, Laboratorio Martínez Prado and Laboratorio Montevideo.
As a final stop, Benigno visited Paraguay. Dr. Ubaldo Scavone, GT Scientific Managing Director, along with the rest of the management team, showed great interest in the new product lines that Vircell will launch soon. They confirmed the great potential of the new products in the Paraguayan market.
In addition to the business meeting, Benigno had the opportunity to visit some of our end-customers, always accompanied by the doctors Miriam Lesme and Elisabeth Ojeda and the Commercial Advisor, Oscar Chamorro: Ministerio de Salud Pública, Instituto de Previsión Social, Laboratorio Centro Médico Bautista, Sanatorio Migone, Laboratorio Díaz Gil, CBN (Centro de Bioquímica Clínica), San Roque and La Costa Centro Médico.
We would very much like to thank our distributors in the Southern Cone for their great hospitality during our visit and for the excellent work they do to position our products in laboratories and hospitals in Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay.
