Official product presentation to the Indian scientific community
Last September 7th, our distributor in India TRANSASIA BIO-MEDICALS Ltd had the opportunity to present BRUCELLACAPT®at the Model Training Course named ‘Comprehensive Approaches for the Diagnosis and Control of Brucellosis’ that was held at Hebbal, Bangalore, from 5th-12th September.
For this occasion, TRANSASIA counted on the invaluable collaboration of Dr. Mantur, who gave a very interesting presentation on the Diagnostic Methods and Treatment on Brucellosis enhancing BRUCELLACAPT® as an appropriate tool for both the diagnosis and treatment follow up. This presentation was complemented by a product demonstration. Dr. Mantur is professor and Head of the Department of Microbiology at the Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences in India and has recently published the article ‘Comparison of a novel immunocapture assay with standard serological methods in the diagnosis of brucellosis’.
About 25 important specialists from all over India, including high-ranked assistant directors and scientists from the Government specialized in brucellosis, attended this training course. The event was sponsored by the Directorate of Extension from the Department of Agriculture and Cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and was conducted with great success by PD_ADMAS (Project Directorate on Animal Disease Monitoring and Surveillance).
We believe this key event will be another milestone in the introduction of BRUCELLACAPT® in the Indian market.
