Last Friday May 27th, during Scientific EXPO 2011, a Symposium on Tuberculosis was held. The attendees could enjoy two brilliant presentations: "Latent TB infection" by Dr. Luis Todd Romero (Border Medical Services) and Agenda for diagnosis and monitoring TB patients in Nuevo León" by Dr. Luis Adrián Pérez Rendón (Prevention and Treatment of Respiratory Infections "ICTP" Hospital University of Nuevo León).
In this symposium, Ms. Victoria del Pilar Hernández presented the new developments of Vircell on the molecular diagnosis of this important disease, considered a global pandemic: SPEED-OLIGO® DIRECT MYCOBACTERIUM TUBERCULOSIS and SPEED-OLIGO® MYCOBACTERIA.
