During the previous week Vircell had the pleasure to attend the largest dedicated clinical laboratory meeting in the world, the AACC’s Annual Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo, in Houston, Texas. Two representatives from the company, Mr. Joan Bodi – Sales and Marketing Director - and Mr. Benigno Neira – International Area Manager - featured at booth 2656 Vircell’s comprehensive portfolio of diagnostics testing solutions in the field of human infectious diseases.
Vircell presented its new product line VirClia, based on chemiluminescence technology and, without a doubt, this was what captured most visitors’ attention at this AACC’s edition. VirClia is a highly flexible monotest solution that adapts to the needs of every laboratory. Vircell also featured its PCR Controls under the brand AmpliRun® (Amplification Controls) and AmpliRun®Total (Extraction and Amplification Controls) and its Respiratory viral screening & identification MAb staining kit intended for in vitro diagnostic use in the investigation of adenovirus, influenza A, influenza B, parainfluenza 1, parainfluenza 2, parainfluenza 3 and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) in cell cultures or clinical samples.
As usual, the AACC is an excellent platform to host our current partners from Latin America, Asia, Australia and Middle East, and get to know new industry experts. Vircell is very satisfied with this year’s meetings and deeply thanks all attendees for their visit.
