Vircell takes part in a respiratory infections seminar organized by Avicena Diagnostica, its exclusive distributor in Macedonia.
During the past 6th-7th April, Avicena Diagnostica, Vircell exclusive distributor in Macedonia, organized a seminar on respiratory infections in Sandanski (Bulgaria).
This meeting was attended by 40 of the most prestigious and specialized clinical microbiologists in the country, such as Professor Dr. Nikola Panovski form the Institute of Microbiology and Parasitology (Faculty of Medicine) or Professor Dr. Biserka Kaeva from the University Clinic for Pulmonary Diseases in Skopje.
Dr. José Rojas, director of Vircell R&D Department, also had the opportunity to participate in this interesting meeting. During his talk on the diagnosis of respiratory diseases, Dr. Rojas put special emphasis in Pneumoslide as a complete serological tool for detecting the main viruses and bacteria affecting the respiratory tract.
In the closing session of the seminar a discussion about the experiences with Pneumoslide in several laboratories confirmed the diagnostic value and benefits of this tool widely used in serological diagnosis of pneumonia in Macedonia.
